The Percent for Art program, which has been administered by the Arts Council since 1986, has collected the work of Nurhan Gokturk. Supported through funding generated by 1% of eligible municipal capital bonds, the Percent for Art program considers its role to engage local artists and facilitate the production of public art that illuminate the daily existence and links to the traditions of our communities. There are currently more than 350 Percent for Art artworks enlivening the city’s landscape.
