Disintegration Loops are the visual recordings of sound. They contain over 10,000 words written by hand. We know what conversations sound like; do we know what conversations look like? The drawing contains phrases that “appear and disappear” from the paper's emulsion until they completely deteriorate or achieve visual clarity.
